Just talked to Interstate company store. One of the four Group 31 chassis/engine batteries that were purchased new in April has failed and will be replaced under warranty.
I’ve read that chassis batteries should be replaced in “sets of four” rather than one at a time.
Does that strategy still hold when the batteries are only six or seven months old? Or is that strategy for when the batteries are two or three or four years old?
Interstate of course wants to honor the warranty for only the failed battery.
Does anyone out there have experience with replacing only the failed battery in the set of four when they are only six months old?
Thoughts and opinions. Thanks!

For starting batteries, I would not worry about it. We used to change out one in trucks all the time without any issues. House batteries would likely be a different issue.
Take the warranty one and put it in and go.
