The collum switch/push button system you speak of has a short lead on it that has a connector located on the bottom side of the steering collum. from the circular part of the switch that goes around the steering colum it is lees than a foot and is a multi pin connector. Corrision and loose pins are a common problem there. FWIW Bob.

OK Here is what mine dose ,, key on not running littlebutton on end of turne signal leavers flashes the marker lights ,, it flashes them if the head lights or marker {parking lights} are either off or on . You are able to hear the relay click in the pannel under drivers window .When i push the big knob at almost the end the wipers do a few wipes .When i lift the leaver it self the head lights flash I was mistake as Jon corrected thinking the small button did this , I was unableto see what relay it was due to darkness setting in and the mosceetoes were attacking if you dont hear it click when you push yhe botton let us know and i will find out what relay it is. That funny looking word that was attacking me was a flying insect that carries the West Nile Virus and i cant speel it. Hope this helps

    David,

That push on the end when the wipers cycled is the windshield washer.

That’s hilarious! Thanks for the info. When you find out which relay it is I am interested in that although it is probably the switch.
