    Don,

WOW some of the those drive days were nearly 8 hours… did you take advantage of the long days to see and do along the way?

Much more aggressive than our approach

At an average of 330 miles/day for 39 days I would be exhausted and unable to remember where we were yesterday! That sounds like a great 90 day trip.

The wife was still working back then. We were fortunate she could take 40 days off. If we do it again we’ll take it slower.

We just got back from our trip to Alaska. We traveled the Alcan late May, spent June around Alaska, then headed back to Canada June 30 – now in Edmonton. The Alcan had a washout and closed for a few days the day before we were going by, so we drove the Cassiar highway back which was new to us. If I can provide any information let me know. Overall had a great experience with no major issues. Got an air hose replaced in Edmonton on the way up (found a great shop that maintains bus lines in Canada) but otherwise all good.
