My reason for this post is as a long term 36 year owner of three coaches, I used to consider Prevost and those associated with Prevost conversions as the standard for customer service.

This no longer appears to be the case.

DIFFICULTY SCHEDULING SERVICE

I have been trying to schedule service I can no longer do or want to do with Liberty and East Tennessee Luxury Coach

When I sent multiple emails or had phone conversations when I initially asked for service scheduling I was a robust, able bus owner. I have waited so long for a response from either company I have declined as you can see.

I have Progressive with agreed value and I am able to go from full coverage to liability while it is in storage.

I have a 2006 XL Marathon and have an electrical issue. Started out with the 50 amp cord end and house plug frying. The bus was drawing lots as its hot. I fixed the plug end and house plug. I have proper current at the house and Tech Link says that I have proper amperage at the coach.

I use Progressive with agreed value. I do not know if they have any policies that take into account when being put into storage. I have been pretty happy with them. If you have USAA, go thru them, it will be a progressive policy at a discounted rate.

i just received a letter from allstate. i have used them since the 80s for insurance on my different busses.. They are getting out of all rv insurance business nationally.

Thanks Robert. I understand. I do have the old style and mine has a timer device on it. I actually bought that one of Ebay a few days ago. I will repace it at some point but everything is functioning properly now.

Oh and Jeff the switch housing is blue on my Marathon because that means it comes with a blue cap. The red ones you see are the same switch. So you buy the cap separate .

When I bought this coach the power line from the charger was not connected to the ships batterys. The line was in the battery area but not connected. I connected it to the termenal that appeared to be for that use. That draid the ships batterys to “0”.

I then charged them up with a charger and then set then up to a seperate trickle charger.…

Right near your knees. If you lay on your side, look up next to the steering column. It will be bundled up there pretty tight to see. You might need a mirror and a flashlight
