I saw this thread that is a couple of years old.

We have been comparing Marathon and Liberty Coach just recently. Both are wonderful and quaility built coaches.

Since we have been looking at 2015 models, Liberty coach puts a chrome cover/shield at the back of the engine covering the belt area (Liberty exclusive). If a belt were to bite the dust, it would not be all over the engine compartment, just in that contained area. Just something I noticed.

The downside to the engine cover is you can’t see anything that is or about to go wrong. Bad belts, oil leaks, coolant leaks, etc. I’m a Liberty fan, but if I had one of those Elegant Lady engine covers it would be in the bus barn.

MMark – You’re really doing your homework, reading back to the PC beginning. Maybe we can use you instead of the Search function.:)

OK, JDUB you start a thread back in ’11 and then check out? Hope all is well with you and the well business.

Check in once and awhile. Any new “Bent Stainless” awards we should know about.
