  • Informal PC Meet

Posted by Tim on August 23, 2016 at 8:02 pm

Been busy doing a HH build in Sheridan , WY, when I noticed Prevost in our camground. I specifically noticed it had a PC tag on the back. Whenever I see a Prevost I ensure they’re aware of PC and, if not a member, why not. So I had to go up and see who it was.

Anyway, it was Doug & Mary, who we met at Bella Terra. Great seeing familiar faces in various different parts of the country! Short visit since they pulled out the next morning, but hoping to see them again at Clawfest, if Geo allows people from Pelican to attend 🙂

It was good to see you Tim. We’re at Glacier NP now heading to N. Idaho in a couple of weeks. We plan to go to Clawfest but keep forgetting to contact George. We’ll be staying again at Pelican but are terrified of the RV show they put on at the end of Jan. The last time we went we bought this bus.

Tim and Cindy, Did not realize where you were. We stopped in Buffalo Wy last nite on our way to Glacier. Would have come a little further had we known.See you this winter hopefully

We saw a bus heading north on I-25 yesterday in Wyoming south of Buffalo, as we were driving the GMC w/Bigfoot camper south after spending a week on the Sacajawea Scenic Byway and camping 40 miles up a gravel road to Lemhi Pass where Lewis and Clark were to have crossed the divide. We stayed two nights ago st Sheridan KOA. No prevosts there, but a Denver Unit airstream parked next us. Surprised Jody and her mom walking up behind her. Small world

Phil & Joanne, time to change your Pic/signature as the new owner of your current pic is at Jefff’s picking it up. Geo.

Bet that was Phil and Joanne, we had the pleasure of them joining us and friends just outside of Centennial Wy for a few days. We moved down to Fort Collins and ran into Texas drifter at the Lakeside KOA. Yep, small world!

Sorry, George. Here’s the best picture I could find. Are you back in TN?

And yes that was us on I-25 yesterday. We’ll be in BigFork tomorrow.

It is obvious Phil and Joanne are going to do their best to try to wear out that coach. It sure is a nice one.

Good to meet you at Jeff’s. Have a safe trip. We are parked in a winery parking lot in Altus Arkansas right now. Tried some of their wine, so better not drive. hic.

Have a safe trip and enjoy that Prevost ride.

Thanks. It was very good to meet you both. Safe travels. I am sure we will see each other on the road or at a rally.

We are also in Milwaukee and had the good fortune of meeting George and Corey at the Wisconsin State Fair RV Park. An abundance of “Northern” Hospitality has been provided by them, In addition to local knowledge they invited us to our first Friday Lake Perch Fish Fry. The fish were almost as good as our host. Will later hook up with Dick as we get closer to Green Bay for the LSU/Wisconsin game Saturday. Really cool having Prevost family in so many places.

We’re at Polson MCR in Montana on 162. Don’t know whether to start recruiting more for PC of go see stuff. We think we have one prospect so far.

    Doug,

Make sure you hook up with that ole groutchy guy from CA, aka Bernie. The best part of Bernie is Debbie…

Would like to put together a PC event at Polson next year, all we need is someone who lives there on the hill to step up and make it happen. hint, hint, he has a Marathon.
