Our Martin generator with a Yanmar engine will automatically shut itself down for low oil pressure, high coolant temperature according to the manual. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get up to operating temperature.

I had not thought a converter would modify a Prevost chassis warning light system, but given The unique way Vantare does the house you may be right in that they want the chassis lights to be done their way. Maybe someone familiar with Vantare can jump in and explain if Vantare gets into mods on the chassis also.

FYI over torqued nuts = cracked wheel. Now that I’m 1600 miles from home, just discovered a crack between two stud holes on R steer. Will buy a new one when we get home in April. No more Alcoa wheels in this spec, has to be Accuride.

Tom you and Nancy keep your heads down and be safe, I agree that the water shouldn’t be your problem, but the wind can do a number on things, hope it turns out ok.

Jon, like most everyone else we had everything battened down, nothing on the counters all the drawers secured. The collision opened the top cabinets and most of the drawers, silverware and cooking utensils were scattered forward from the galley. Coffee cups and glasses came out of the top cabinets, no plates came out, Judy has some sort of cushion shelf liner she puts between the dishes. The recliner moved forward a couple of feet, but the dinette chairs stayed put. Bathroom cabinets came open and something, we don’t know what, flew into the fridge and dented one of the doors. We have gouges in the hard wood, possibly from the sink covers, they flew forward and are pretty chipped up.

Here’s where I get teary eyed, one of the PC coffee cups we recieved at Driggs was a casulty, along with the Prevost Community license plate. All that dues money shot to hell. On the bright side though, the wine Judy bought from Doug and Jan came through unscathed

Everybody should understand the insurance industry that has knowledge of and has written policies for bus conversions has contracted significantly with some leaving entirely, some restricting size or value and the remainder of companies increasing rates.

It is likely any policy renewals are going to be expensive and the solution in my opinion is not to go with companies that do not specialize in bus conversions. Right after an accident is not the time to find out you were not properly insured. If agencies that specialize in our conversions like Miller place your Prevost with a company you can be comfortable you are properly insured. I went through a very expensive bus fire claim and realized how important the right insurance company and agent can be. It was a no hassle claim and repair.

We also switched to a Tecma Silence Plus.

The Tecma Silence Plus works great everytime, never any problems. There are two flush options, one for liquids,

that uses less water, and one for solids. The water level is adjustable and you can “flush” liquids without

using any water by pushing both buttons at the same time and holding them for a few seconds. The footprint is

a little different, but mainly to the rear and mostly out of sight. Not an easy or direct swap by any means, but

we too followed the advice of Peter Campbell and have been very pleased.

We have owned our coach going on 7 years. There have been a few trips out and back with no issues whatsoever. Pure Heaven. It will get better. Not!

Thanks for the input. We are out of town for a while. When we return I will check the display manual.

This could end up being a very embarassing post for me. We have owned many RVs over the last 34 years and have owned this one since late 2007.

If your talking about your pro driver readings versus your needle gage for coolant temperature you need to make sure your monitoring the right component.

look in your book to make sure that is the temperature and not oil temp or trans temp.

The symbols on the pro driver are confusing.

Those codes were not active codes, does that mean they were in the memory and had not been erased. The active codes was empty..

I will none the less check the level and check the connection
