I know that the air dryer that is (was) on my ’88 is no longer made so it is no longer servicable. I had WW William replace it with the current unit so I would not have future issues. It needs to be serviced at regular intervals but there seems to be some disagreement as to how often that is. I have heard as often as once a year and as much as once every 100,000 miles (pretty sure that’s wrong!). The pressure relief you hear when the compressor tops out will not keep the moisture out of your system.

I know this subject has been beaten to death, but I can’t find anywhere where it is mentioned if you have pulled your intake piping off and inspected every inch of it. I know you said you replaced air filters, but have you, or anyone else actually looked at all the piping? Including anything prior to the filter housing. Just wondering….

Can you wire around the splitter (I think you described a selector switch)? If the cables have F connectors just pick up a F bullet connector from your local Radio Shack or pickup a TV wall plate from Home Deport. I can’t imagine a single rationale reason to run the AM/FM antenna through a splitter. Almost all rooftop TV antennas will pick up local FM broadcasts. Not that matters anyway as what is usually at the other end of those selector swicthes is a TV, not a radio.
