Jon, thanks for your help. We’ll definitely be a part of the inspection. We’ve already looked over service records. And date codes. Where do I need to go to have Detroit run the history? Thanks

Dan, I think you need that constant flow through the heat exchanger that the circulating pump provides.
I doubt if the temps you mention caused a problem.

Thanks Tom, that looks like the right solution to me. It’s simple, long term and takes the pressure off the main power cord that’s already showing ware.

Robert.
I know the Classic has used 12V coils on the solenoid manifold, but yours is the first Elegant Lady I am aware of that uses a 12V coil. Prevost installs all 24V and when the system is modified by Liberty they use 12V when required, apparently on some Elegant Lady coaches.

For the life of me I cannot imagine anything that would bring about the lemon law regarding the purchase of a new conversion.
These coaches are not mass produced so the buyers and owners of converted Prevost coaches are very small in number relatively speaking. Adding to that, a very large percentage of them participate on Prevost Community. I cannot recall a single new buyer complainng about the service and support they have had for their coaches. I am talking about over a 26 year period with one exception and that was about 24 years ago and the converter is no longer in business.
All the converters mentioned have a history of bending over backwards for their customers. Their sales are all based on relationships and they will do everything they can to maintain those relationships.
There is no comparison between a conventional RV, how it is built, how it is serviced, and its reliability compared to a Prevost conversion. It is like comparing a Yugo to a Bugatti.

Brian from American: How often do these things fail? Should they be replaced after a reasonable amount of time? Any hints of a failure? or is it a big surprise?

George,
Yes, we have 2 cruise airs units. I am not sure what an R-Vac is. Do you know how we access them once we open the front bumper. It is intimidating.
