Thank you Chad, valuable information. I am looking for the solenoids you have in your first reference picture, but I haven’t located them yet. Are they located in the the front compartment close to the Air filter housing, or behind the wall nearer to the front ride height mechanism?

Thanks Chad, thats a nice refit. I found and ordered the old filters to get me back in service, but will get these as a soon replacement.

Thank you Mike, I responded several days ago, but it didn’t go through. I ordered a set from Ebay and they are on the way. I do plan to replace the filter system to modern spin on filters the next time I am looking at filters if I can find the right equipment for the conversion?

On the schematic, they label it as an Air Filter. The filter looks like a tight woven roll of yarn.

Its been a little while, but I finally received the parts for the dryer, rebuilt it, and installed. I replaced a couple of the airlines for further prevention measures since I didn’t want to go through what it took to get under there anytime soon. As soon as I cranked the bus, I started smiling as it was building air again.

The airbags charged and lifted the coach with no leaking or backfeed through the primary system. After I had the coach lifted, I second guessed myself on the correct jack point or support points to place the blocks. I looked for my reference, but couldn’t locate it, so I am researching it now. I hope to have the dryer out tomorrow.

Thanks, I have looked at several videos regarding the service of it, thanks for the heads up on the spring.

Do you know of a source for filter and gasket sets?

I just got in to read, but today I verified an air connection to the front tank / system, but had to change some of the connections in preparation for connecting the air compressor which is scheduled for tomorrow. Mike, I do have a schematic, and it appears as mentioned by Clint that the lines lead to the airbags and a check valve is positioned at the service tanks that seperate the system from the brakes. If I can get the airbags charged and lift the coach, I can at at get it high enough to block it up to get to the dryer, remove it, and repair the leaks? I will update tomorrow.

I do have a small tank in the compartment below the driver. If I pressurize that tank, will that release the brakes, or just raise the coach?

What did you use to insulate the area over the driver and across the front? On mine, there is fiberglass insulation that has fallen down and is not working at all. I would like to apply spray in as a replacement, but haven’t found anything specific yet.

Because you and I have the same Liberty year and model, I followed you for a long time with the same intent to remodel mine, then was away for a few years. When I returned, the site had changed hands and I lost all your posts as they didn’t move with the new site I guess. I am glad you are still on the site.
