I have always wanted to bring back that original glass shine to my coach, but haven’t been able to find definitive information on how its actually accomplished, and the right compound, pads, etc needed for it? Does anyone have a source for information and / or supplies that I may look up or contact? I know it would take patience and time, but…

Vintage Inline air filter system replacement issue.
Thank you Mike, I responded several days ago, but it didn’t go through. I ordered a set from Ebay and they are on the way. I do plan to replace the filter system to modern spin on filters the next time I am looking at filters if I can find the right equipment for the conversion?

Vintage Inline air filter system replacement issue.
On the schematic, they label it as an Air Filter. The filter looks like a tight woven roll of yarn.

Vintage Inline air filter system replacement issue.
I have been looking for a replacement filter that is part of the main air system located in the compartment under the driver. What I have run into is that the filter no longer exists and has to be replaced with an updated filter system. My question is whether someone on here knows what I need and/or has done the same conversion and has any…

Its been a little while, but I finally received the parts for the dryer, rebuilt it, and installed. I replaced a couple of the airlines for further prevention measures since I didn’t want to go through what it took to get under there anytime soon. As soon as I cranked the bus, I started smiling as it was building air again.
Thanks for the…

I have completely removed my AD2 dryer as well as taken the end plate off to get to the desiccant filter cartridge. At this point, I am looking at the center bolt, but I am hesitent to remove it because I read of 75lb spring pressure somewhere and can’t verify where it is or how to disassemble it. I am reading the service manual, but I am…

The airbags charged and lifted the coach with no leaking or backfeed through the primary system. After I had the coach lifted, I second guessed myself on the correct jack point or support points to place the blocks. I looked for my reference, but couldn’t locate it, so I am researching it now. I hope to have the dryer out tomorrow.
Thanks, I…

I just got in to read, but today I verified an air connection to the front tank / system, but had to change some of the connections in preparation for connecting the air compressor which is scheduled for tomorrow. Mike, I do have a schematic, and it appears as mentioned by Clint that the lines lead to the airbags and a check valve is positioned…

I do have a small tank in the compartment below the driver. If I pressurize that tank, will that release the brakes, or just raise the coach?
Thanks

86 Lady Liberty 8V92.
It appears to be a Bendix AD-2 dryer, I would like to temporarily bypass the dryer to see if system will charge, is that an option? if so, how would I go about it? The intent is to isolate the issue, and be able to drive it up onto supports to be able to work under it.
Thanks

Both systems struggled to get 25-30lbs. But I was finally able to use a compressor to attempt to charge the air system. I could hear air coming from between the rear axles, so since the coach was fully settled with no air reserve, I managed to crawl between the drive & bud wheels and get to the leak. It is coming from the bottom of the air…
