I am assuming they wanted to draw air from over the floor vent – but why not keep the stock location and lust add an extension to the inlet like cars have?

On a standard Kubota engine, the air filter sits directly on top of the engine. On mine, Country Coach installed an adapter pipe to shove the stock air cleaner back into the middle of the bay where the gen starter battery is mounted.

A huge pain to change filters. Any clue why they would do this? Its not a cheap adaptet.

Thanks, that makes sense. I think my current setup has check valves on both sides. I did read that is bad if the pressure valve fails so a 2nd tank is installed.

Plan to just install one on the hot side and one 5gal pressure tank on the cold side.
