Sticks in heat mode until I cycle the knob several times as if the rheostat is faulty. Probably could also be a sticking heater control valve. Anybody had this problem?

Eureka! When I changed the airbags, I found several of the nuts holding the lower studs missing. I installed nuts and split lock washers. The two lower nuts on this tag airbag had vibrated off. I don’t remember what brand I have but after a 2 replacement oil cooled 50DN’s failed within 18 months (one failure almost cost me the engine) I went to air cooled 24 volt. Can’t remember amp rating but I think it was 300. Coach is operated in high ambient temp conditions and has bus air. Air cooled alt now has about 160,000 miles on it.

Bang while parked

I haven’t seen the old airbag yet, but I was told by mobile mechanic that the 2 bottom studs had ripped out of the bag. Mechanic capped air line to tag bag and brake as I can’t get tag wheels completely off the ground. I’m limping into Denver tomorrow for 1 new bag. All rear bags are 4 years old with 50,000 miles.

On my Liberty, there is a small electrical fan which ventilates the compartment. I can’t recall what originally activated it; I have placed mine on a thermostatic control…the fan itself had failed.
