I buy all my oil, coolant, and 8V92 parts from them. Parts guys are great but I have never had any service work done.

Ron, I have used Shelly Truck center in Columbia. they have a Duncan Branch. They are on the Prevost certified service center list, which means they have 1 guy who has gone to 1 class. They are a Volvo dealer and the mother ship rules.

I had them change a couple of drive axle hub seals and a couple of other minor service items. They did a good job for me at book rates, the jobs took longer than that and so the price was reasonable. Go by and talk to the service manager.

either place should be able to handle a coolant change.

I had them change trans fluid and filter. But, I made sure I could speak with the tech before and after to make sure he/they understood that I knew what needed to be done and that they knew to properly torque the pan bolts to spec. All went well with no problems.

My only concern was that the service person tried to talk me into replacing a belt idler/adjuster for three times the cost of the part (I had already purchased from DD and was going to replace myself). I understand that may be part of his job and certainly don’t mind paying for parts and services when I can’t perform them myself
