Hey Jon and Tom,

Not being stupid enuff to look a gift horse in the mouth, why me? Should not this honor or stipend go to a Prevost Owner, I am as you know, an orphan. I will send you the particulars. But I still think it should go to a member of the Prevo Community guys.

(Instead of using it for fuel, will it work on bail money? Just thinking outside the box here.)

BCO, this site is for all Prevost enthusiasts and it doesn’t matter if you own one, drive one, are converting one, or as all Eagle owners do, wish they had one.

You won fair and square and like all of us you have bus disease so enjoy your fuel card. If diesel prices continue at the current rate of decline, by my projections if you wait until December to swipe the card, Pilot / Flying J will not only fill your tank with their finest #2, they will add more to your card. At least that is how it seems.

You may have inadvertently given me an idea for my next post. Wishing and Hoping.

As I am no longer young enough to sit idly around and dream of sex, it must be replaced with dreams of another nature. A Bus? Is that what you are saying here, a Prevost? That is a strange expression “sit idly around” that has to be wrong, kind of like “Fine and Dandy.”

How you doing? I am doing fine and dandy, I have never been both, I have been fine, but never dandy. Hmmmmm, I will have to do some research on this and that dream thing and then get back to you on it.

Remember the good old days? You would be out trippin down the nation’s highways and there it was … A sign, “Diesel, $1.92 per gallon.”

And you would look over at the wife and say …. “Wow! We better get us some of that!”

Ah, the joys of bus ownership and old age.

You must be a young kid. During our first few years of ownership we bought many tanks of #2 at $.69 or thereabouts.

Our first foray into the dieselized world as I remember it was about $1.40 per gallon or in that neighborhood. And it has just spiraled upwards ever since.

Unfortunately, I am not a kid, not any more, I am not sure what it is that I am, that is because the medicine often confuses me.

I am old school Jon, you know that. Stuff like this, turns me on. You ever see a ’53 five window coupe with duallies? I saw one this week, sure was tricked out.

Today I received in the mail, my $100 fuel card for motion lotion for my old hoopie, courtesy of Prevost Community. Every little bit helps any more … so I will think kindly of you when I pull my Pig Iron Pony up to the pump … and allow him to slurp until full.

As Elvis was fond of saying …Thank you very much.

All week long, I have considered this stroke of good fortune. Much like the lottery, I have sat around day after day, watching for the mailman, in great anticipation, trying to figure out a way to cash in on this bonanza. But it appears I am destined to buy fuel with the card and not a time share in Boca Raton. No tree house in Belize and no easy living on banana’s …

Funny how things work out isn’t it.

Just this morning, the guy across the road walked up to the fence, and he said, “Don, do you drink beer?” and I said, “Is a Blue Bird blue?” So he said, “I want to give you a case of Budweiser for all the things you do around here, would that be okay?” and I said … “Yeppers, bring it on!”

Things are lookin up. I will now slink back to Trash Talk and leave you to your amusements. Thanks for the fuel card.
