Wondering about the outdoor grills

This is a photo with the grille pulled out. Notice the outlet in the top rear. The power cord is not yet plugged into it. With the cord plugged in the grille will not close avoiding a potential fire hazard. The grille is not fully extended because it would hit a post in the garage. It extends fully beyond the bay door.
Below is a photo with the grille closed. The drawer unit below holds spare parts and was on the top of the driver’s side first bay. I needed the full height of the bay for our bikes so I relocated the drawer unit. The balance of the space is storage.

We’ve been using the George Forman grill, cooks on both sides, electric, extension cord to anywhere away from the bus. Only downside for us, can be small for big stuff.

Jon, thanks so much. I’m trying to use the same storage units from the front bay. I’m putting in a larger pivioting tv in the front bay and a slide out behind the tv.

I absoultly Love My outdoor Grill and Entertainment center. I have used it 3-4 times so far. Have only had the Coach 8-10 weeks maybe. I have a Electric Jen -Aire Grill on one side and 2 burners on the other. The only thing that is a little un handy about mine is that there is a electrical cable that I have to plug into the Bottom of the Grill , And have to lay down to see it and get it plugged in.Then plug the other end in beside the TV.
I might add a small refridgerator in My front storage bay , That would be nice.

Yea, I have one built in also a Jenn Air, but never use it, do not believe it has ever been used. Looks like it would get grease and smoke grime on the paint, just to close to the coach so I do not use it , I guess it would work fine but have a Weber I keep at the coach house in FL

The Jenn Air grilles on my 97 and my 06 both will leave a film of cooking grease on the bay door which is above it. In fact the smoke from grilling is actually a mist of grease and depending on the direction of the breeze it will put a film on the stainless either to the front or rear of the coach, mostly on the top of the stainless steel ribs as gravity makes it settle.
The truth is I doubt if anyone notices it but me. However when I clean the coach after a trip I need to use an emulsifier such as Simple Green or 409 to clean the film from the coach. I don’t worry about removing wax from the stainless because it is not ever waxed. Despite the extra work cleaning because of the grille is worth it to be able to sip a cool one while cooking steaks or hot dogs.
Having a remote grille would help with that problem, but the film I get on the coach is as far as 20 feet from the grille so depending on the breeze even a grille on a picnic table has to be quite a distance from the coach so it doesn’t require extra cleaning. The amount of film is totally dependent upon what is being grilled. Almost no film from hot dogs, but rib eye steaks with a lot of marbling will likely get a lot of airborne grease on the coach.
