Anyone find a better source for H3 22” wiper blades? There are no identification on the wipers from Prevost and 34.00 each seems a tad high. Back in the day you could by refills, can’t find anything on those either.

I just replaced mine and gave up after spending too much time on the internet seeing if there was a better source than Prevost.

When I was at Prevost Goodlettsville in March to have my level 3 done, I had them change the wiper blades.

-Wiper blade assy 22″ part #800284 $26.89 each

-0.6 hours of labor at $1270 per hour = $76.20

    Total $129.98 (not including tax)

amequipment.com is a possible source for Bus, Truck, RV and other big equipment wiper blades, motors, arms and assemblies.

It even gets better… I had ordered the wipers from Prevost and didn’t know that they actually have refills for the 22” wipers. So I called parts and told them I needed the refills instead of the whole assembly. No problem he says, how many do I want? Being an experienced Prevost parts buyer I asked how much are they? He says 830 each. Both of us cracked up and he’s going to get it sorted out tomorrow. The part number for refills is 800316. They were on sale back around March for about 80.

So, I’ll follow up when this is resolved, but bottom line, they have refills. I’ll keep the new ones anyway. Then I’ll take my take offs and put on new refills as stock.

So the big windshield H has the wimpy 22″ wipers.

Glad we have the manly XLII with 28″ wipers.

Mine is indeed bigger than yours…

So Prevost got back to me today and verified the 22″ refills are 830 each or you can buy the whole assembly for 32.32. You can’t make this up folks.

I regret to inform you that the price I quoted you on the wiper refills yesterday is accurate.

Apparently, Federal Mogul increased our cost dramatically on these and other products on April 1st.

    Assembly 800284

    Refill 800316

    Les,

That’s because you have to have the seat pumped up and you need more vertical wiper vision. It’s not a bigger thing, nice try.

I learned another Bus Pro Tip at the Quartzsite Rally last January from my good friend TerryA. I had no idea these holes in the wiper arms were used to prop the wipers off the Windshield. When I got home, I made a stainless steel Knob and pressed it on a pin. Thanks for all the tips and tricks, looking forward to hang out with the Bus enthusiasts this coming January again.

I bought a pair. They fit, throw out clips etc that come with them and use the bolt from the Prevost wiper in the big hole on these.

Regular $22 pair. Warehouse deals had 3 sets for $8 this AM.
