Windshield wiper blades
Posted by Michael on September 4, 2016 at 11:22 amAnyone know an easy source for replacement wiper blades for a 2002 vintage XL II? Prevost doesn’t seem to want to sell parts to people and I can’t find another cross reference.

If they’re available at Napa, we need a part number, I’ve not been able to get them anywhere except Prevost.
Mike – Not or clear your comment about Prevost not wanting to sell to anyone, you have to have an account or you can buy at the service centers.

My comment had to do with the fact that you have to fill out a credit
app (why? I buy everything else online with a credit card), which I
did, and emailed to the address on their website and it came back
undeliverable. I don’t live near a service center, hence the
frustration.
Also, NAPA doesn’t even list Prevost as a manufacturer of any type of vehicle they carry parts for. I finally did find a part number on the ANCO website that looks right (ANCO 50-28). Wal-Mart carries ANCO wipers but of course they don’t stock that one. Guess I will order from ANCO.

Take one of wipers into NAPA. I’m sure they can match it to something they carry.

You still pay with a CC card from Prevost with a account with them. I usually buy from them as most parts will fit when you order, even for my old coach.

Most of the time wiper blades can be obtained from heavy duty truck parts depts. Have you tried any of these ?
Sooner or later you will be ordering parts from Prevost and having an account makes it go very fast, insures what you order will go to the correct address.
Your account number is 6 digits, making you known in less then 15 seconds to the Prevost parts man.
I believe the fact you have a bus is the credit check so if your concerned about a soft or hard hit on your credit it doesn’t happen.
From my NAPA experience we had no listings on heavy duty truck wipers. We did stock universal and suggested customer bring in an old to match up. I think they were listed by inch length, and mounting style.

Maybe Jeff will chime in…he replaced ours recently and I think they came from Napa…he’d know the part #….he just went upstairs and grabbed ’em. Geo.

I ordered a new set a couple months ago from Prevost. Shipped free … no issues.
Although I do have an account, they use my cc everytime per my request.

If all else fails measure the length and get them at Camping World.

NAPA 602856 should be a complete wiper assembly, 28″. That might work. Can’t find just the wiper blade refill.
