Windshield washer pump
Had some spare time and decided to see why one of my windshield washer pumps wasn’t working. I was expecting to find stripped or broken plastic gears when I disassembled the pump. I was pleasantly surprised to find brass gears internally driving the pump. At some point in the past someone had put hard water in the washer tank and the gears were dirty and binding. A little CLR and a fine wire brush cleaned the gears and base plate and now all works well.
My take away from this is the quality and detail that Prevost uses even down to the smallest parts.

Now if Prevost paid as much attention to the design and plating standards of the Crapco rear view mirrors.

I had just replaced both of mine back in September, first time I ever had to do those on any bus I had.
