Windshield Install
Had to remove passenger side windshield to install new refer, so rubber looked old so I bought 2 new rubbers and lock rubber from Prevost. Not thinking about it I cut the front windows out Installed new refer and then I found a glass guy that said ! No Problem, Well 1 went in and not seated all the way and broke 2nd one, that’s when I said lets stop now before we do more damage. So after 1 1/2 weeks of glass guy saying he will be back me and 1 of my sons installed both of them, Good thing I had an extra windshield came with bus so removed 1st one and looking at the cut out it was not very even, so I used pin stripe tape and went around opening and evened it up not taking much just the highs off. Then we used a little soapy Dawn in a spray bottle and got them both in, took us about 3 or more hours, I had bought a tool for the lock, good thing and got the new lock in, new lock is much nicer then old style, when it’s in can’t hardly see it. This was not an easy job, but we got it done. Glass guy finally text me and said he was ready Ha Ha , and I said got it covered! He had spent almost 3 hours at $55 an hour $165, and failed on 1st one and broke 2nd one and new glass from Prevost $230 so he did not ask for payment, and I did not ask him to replace the glass he broke, caulked it up to sometimes you have to do it your self to do it rite.

Good Job! What fridge did you get? Forklift through the hole or did you get a football team and man-handle it?

Got a black stainless Whirlpool side by side, same as old one but new , and yes we went to my friends shop and used a fork lift.
