For what purpose? They already offer a high degree of privacy while allowing a lot of light. I would be concerned about cutting out light which would make the coach feel not only darker, but smaller inside. I want as much open feeling inside the coach as possible.

If the sun is heating up the inside I just drop the shades. which on my coach have the gauze type material with slats that can be fully open or closed.

The bedroom shades are black out shades can not see in at night with the lights on , but salon are the day/ night shades you can see that the lights are on at night , I like the bedroom ones but not the salon ones and they are very expensive to replace with black out ones , when I do my work when bus is parked I have all the blinds down all the time for privacy anyways , was thinking tint might be the answer blinds up can still see out a little from side windows and no one can see in day or night

We have limo tint on our windows. Came that way. Am thinking it was installed while in Texas/South West. We find it does a couple things. One it cuts down on sunlight in the coach and 2 it cuts down on being able to see in the coach at night.

Since our coach already has a dark(er) interior then others (has a burl wood design), it’s already a little dark inside, this does add to it, but not by that much with giving some additional benefits (the reducing the ability to see in at night is the most beneficial for us).

When it’s put on the existing factory tint the windows come with, it is VERY close. You can tell lights are on, but not make out 100% what is going on in there… Maybe be closer to a 15% after all is said and done.

It is enough that we dont tend to draw the shades in the front of the coach and only draw the day shades in the back of the coach.

Of course we are at a place that the spots are rather wide with about 40-45 feet of space between each spot. Since you need to get up close to the coach to really see anything when the lights are on inside, we feel a good amount of privacy with this setup here. Now when we were parked right next to you at East Tennessee RV Resort, we pulled the night shades in the bedroom at night 🙂

Now we did get the RV Sunshades made for the windshield, drivers/passangers windows and that makes a HUGE difference during the day. Night, we still need to drop the privacy shades. Money well spent, keeps some of the sun out while giving us some privacy.

I had 32% installed entrance door window. 20% on drivers window to aid with looking in the mirror at night, so there is less interior reflection.

As far as the rear, you can tint over tint if you really want it to get darker than 5%.

For daytime, the RV Sunshade screens are great as mentioned above for the windhield and front side windows. You cannot see in through those in the daytime, but you can have the shades open for light.

This past summer, I was at Liberty Coach and met a couple that were having their front and side windows tinted. After the work was done, I kept up with the couple over a 3 month period and they RAVED about it and highly suggested it.

So, last week, I had Liberty Coach in Stuart (a company that they recommend) install tint on the two front windshields and on the lower driver’s side and the entrance door. OH MY GOSH, it is excellent!

The tint guy said it is a 50% tint (slightly lighter than the upper side Prevost windows). It has a 99% UV protection and prevents glare. I still wear my sunglasses on the brightest days. I also like that my left arm is not being fried by the sun!

I saw several new coaches with the tint installed. It also helps to keep some of the heat out of the front if you are in parked in the direct sun.

That’s great Mark my front windshields have black out about level with the bottom of TV and no sun gets in, it’s great and less heat in the front and you can still see out side , drive window and passenger Windows are 32%
