On our XL 40 we have 8 windows that pop out with the plastic rod, since we’ve got the coach we have slowly fixed big things and a lot of little things, Yesterday I fixed 2 drawers that slid out when we traveled, I installed the friction latches on the 2 drawer’s so they won’t come out anymore. Today the 8 windows I replaced the stainless roll pins that held the plastic rod to the window, 2 roll pins per window times 8 , is 16 pins there was 3 left 13 fell out over the years, so instead of roll pins I ran a 10-20 tap in the aluminium and put in a double set of stainless set screws in their place,and set them so the rod is in the center of the hole,much better now.
