Wilkerson Aux Air Filter
Be sure to check out your filters, the view from outside is deceiving. You take a look, no water and you think all is well. The filter housing needs to be removed to check the condition of the filter and needs periodic changing. Mine was in bad shape due to corrosion of the filter housing and is heading for the junk pile. This fitler was for the aux compressor and once again, these compressors make a lot of water.

I’m in total agreement with Tom.
The auxiliary air
compressor does not have the benefit of the auto blow down used on the engine
compressor. This means all water must be collected before it gets to the aux
air tank and the Norgren suspension valves. I’m fortunate to have a Jun-air auxiliary
compressor and can level my coach quickly without the engine running. I also
have a Microphor toilet that requires air to flush. Some of the Microphor units
have an electric flush timing valve and some of them use a pneumatic timing
valve. I’m unfortunate to have the fully pneumatic version that is very susceptible
to problems caused by moisture. After taking it apart and cleaning to remove
moisture a few times I added a desiccant drier after the standard air water seperator
Tom displayed. Problem gone, who wants a Prevost with toilet problems.
