  • WHO ARE WE?

Posted by Archived on January 11, 2013 at 10:21 am

Over the years we have met a lot of Prevost conversion owners. Some of us are learned professionals, some less so, but successful in businesses, some had successful careers, some sold everything they owned to full time in a Prevost. The stories and backgrounds are endless.

What we seem to be for the most part are people that have earned their coach. People that worked hard and long and were not inheritors, but creators of their own wealth and success.. All of us has a story. All of us are way beyond average. We all did more right than we did wrong. And how each of us got where we are today would make a fascinating collection of stories.

If any of you wish to share any stories, or even a quick bio I think it would make a great article. Tom and I have to approve articles before they see the light of day, and although we do not like anonymous articles that are intended for the wrong purposes I think we could post articles or include stories under this thread anonymously if the writer chose to do so. Because this is a publicly viewed site it might even be a good idea to keep your identity private.

Based on the people we have met over the years I can say I am proud to be a part of such a great group of people.

Prevost ownership will most likely be a
lifestyle change for most. Over the last 8 years we have made many
friends around the country, some we see several times a year and
others we may not see for several years. Somehow we manage to stay in
touch, whether it’s a phone call, e-mail or just reading the forum.

One thing for sure with us, when it’s
time to throw in the towel and quit buying diesel fuel, the memories
and good times will never be forgotten and we won’t be sitting on the
porch talking about how we wished we would have done that.

So if you’re out there thinking about
buying a bus, just do it, you won’t have any regrets.

I’ve gotta say, life gets in the way. Especially with two teenagers in the house. I haven’t been able to get on the boards for about two months. Still, I can stay in touch with a few, and next month get to catch up with most in Tennessee. Can’t wait to see everybody!

Oh yeah, Natalie is excited too.

We usually do three Steam shows a year and Florida Flywheelers in Feb. Steam engines running sawmills and other things. Our son (Andy) ownes 2 steam engines. Guess we are just redneck old timers. You would be surprised the number of coaches we see at shows. We are at one this weekend without bus spending time with Andy in his Freightlinner Toterhome. Bob

Jon, I sent in a brief profile last night and have just been trying to update my profile to include an avatar of my coach but can’t seem to get it to stay on my profile after I hit ” update”. I selected a pic from my ipad. The signature block updated just fine. Any ideas?
