  • Where to find windows for my bus?

Posted by Harry on June 2, 2017 at 5:22 pm

The eyebrow window above the drivers window has a crack and requires replacement. On the entry door the front “non moving” window has moisture between the panes. Do you know of a place I can get replacements?

Someone told me regarding the window in the door that I could just take off the inside panel. What do you think of that?

Wonder Harry if those windows above were an option back in the day on the 91’s. Mine doesn’t have them. Prevost Houston replaced my drivers side window because of fog issues and it was around $900 bucks for some reason. Heard you can get them a lot cheaper than Prevost’s parts and labor.

Harry, as has been said here many times in regard to your coach problems, Contact Jeff Rowe. I had him replace the toll booth window drivers side and the passenger door window. Both had “silvered” due to moisture penetration. When you get the hung brake unhung, make an appointment with Jeff. Really, those 70 miles would be well worth the costs to find out what needs to be repaired on your coach immediately and what can be phased in over the next several months. So pick up the phone, I know that is old fashion, especially for those still waiting on a call on their first generation, wooden flip phone! Just do it and life will be much better than what has been described on the multiple posts.
Jeff will also give you an education so open both ears and listen. Remember, there are no dumb question

    Hi Expressbus,

I have an appointment with Jeff on Monday . I didn’t know he did glass installation and I’m sure there are many things he does I’m not aware of. I look forward to meeting with Jeff and thank you for your input.

Yes the brow window were standard on Prevost of that era, unless your converter capped the front.

Jeff has people who came out to his shop to replace the two fixed window on our former Beaver XL #34. We had Prevost shipped the double pane windows to Jeffs place. His outfit had them installed in about two hours, Prevost told it would to take 8 hrs for both.
