  • Where is the fuse for my windshield visors?

Posted by Sam on August 3, 2014 at 10:06 pm

My visors are all stuck in the down position!

Can anyone tell me where to find the fuse?

    Sam,

Make sure the GFCI for the forward outlets has not tripped. They are 120V and on the forward outlet circuit. If that circuit is dead the shades will not work. The outlet with the GFCI is the one upside down under the microwave.

Thanks, Jon. I will check the outlet after work today! I didn’t think of that while I was scratching my head and looking at wiring diagrams yesterday!

I drove myself nuts one time when they wouldn’t work and in the electric panel the forward outlets had the little green light showing it was powered. I finally figured out it was the GFCI that tripped. Don’t know why it tripped, but once I reset it every thing worked.

I hope that is the problem because it is easy to fix.
