When is the weather really bad?
When the ducks paddle by in front of the bus! That is when the weather is really bad!

Lake Winnipesaukee in Gilford, NH. We are parked about 500 feet away from the lake front.
We have had a front pass through last night with torrential rains all night until early PM, today.
The grounds could not absorb the water as fast as it was coming down.
In front of Olivia, hidden behind the brush is a small creek. It overflowed due to the masses of water.
At some point, we did have as many as 20 or more ducks padling around the campground.
At this hour, 9 pm, most of the water has gone underground. Fortunately, the rains has stopped a few hours ago. It sure was funny to look at all the ducks. I guess, the weather was something only a duck would appreciate.
Well, tomorrow, Thursday, we are leaving here en route to TN.

passed you on I-81 just south of Carlisle Pa. today We were heading the wrong way (north) on our way to Elite Coach in Ephrata, Pa. to find out why we don’t have drivers heat or defroster. S..tty weather!
Update Tom “captain” Morgan @ Elite found the problem in about 10 minutes after I mentioned that the radiator had been replaced this summer…….they forgot to turn a valve on in the feed line from the Webasco!!!
BTW Elite Coach has a great reputation, does a lot of Prevost work, seated and private coachs.

Don’t let George fool you Mark. He’s just getting old and forgetting the features our Prevosts come with. One nifty switch on the dash turns on these bright lights that let you navigate the roads after dusk. But if I hit the utility pole while maneuvering into the lot here I’d probably be a little apprehensive about driving at night also 😉

Many thanks to Billie to enlightening me as to the fact that we have brights. Unfortunately with the onset of dimentia, cataracts and that macular thingy, probably the brights wouldn’t help. As to the backing in I can attribute that to laziness. I know better than to let campground personel guide you in but I got lazy and it bit me. Note to self: don’t be lazy and try and figure out when and where I went from whippersnapper to old fart without really realizing it. Geo.

Two comments…………dementia may have progressed to the point where you need help if you even consider allowing campground people to guide you into a site. My rule is for them to tell me where they want the wheels or back of coach or whatever reference point they choose, and then get out of the way. When they start insisting I follow their every direction I let them know unless they have a big insurance policy to take care of damage to my coach I will be ignoring them. (I tell them I am a POG member and that is how we all are).
We didn’t know you were old until you just told us. We all thought you were just grumpy.
