  • wheels on bus!

Posted by Bob on November 1, 2014 at 3:13 pm

Another goal met! Sort of a thing when you rebuild everything when the wheels go on my grandson (6) thinks it done.!! Not quiet yet but is in the 85% range and movable under it’s own power— first time in 3 yrs after I bought a salvage shell for $1200. The wheels are not polished yet.–as I have decided now is the time to do a shake down .. I changed all the drive train–to a 2000– 60 serries with a 10 sp auto and 3:07 gears. Bob

Sounds good there Bob and only 15% more to go then you’re finished. Then you can start repairing the bus everytime you take it out.

Exciting! The best part is that Bob knows every nut and bolt on the bus and he can be counted on to provide good advice.

How many I have made is ??? Do know I have learned more than I ever intended to know. Time for a shakedown! I know of some cosmetic mistakes that I need to correct.—My thinking is the shakedown at this point takes first stage. Let the adventure begin.. Bob
