Wheel stud length and spline diameter ?
Ladies and Gentlemen, I have a 1989 H3-40 Tour bus that is being converted into a racecar hauler/RV
It has steel stud pilot rims. however, after some research I have determined that my drive axle and the tag axle have the correct centers for hub pilot rims, however the studs are 1 /18 inch and need to be changed to 22mm, what I can’t find is information on what length stud is required, Meritor info shows 2 available
1 is 5, 35/64 inch and the other is 5, 5/8 inch. Does anyone know which one I need?
I have not started to dismantle this in order to reverse engineer it as I would like to keep it drivable for now.
Also, the steer axle does not have the locating tangs for Hub pilot rim, what parts do I need to convert this and where would I source these?
