Wheel seal
Does Prevost use a special wheel seal on the drive axle that must be ordered from Prevost or can it be bought other places?

It can be bought other places, but why not buy from Prevost? Their prices are usually pretty competitive.

Inner drive axle hub seals = Prevost# 621069, same as Scotseal# 48690 or CR# 48690 or SKF# 48690 or National# 370195A or Meritor# A 1205L1546 or Stemco GritGuard# 392-9034 or Stemco Voyager# 393-0134.

I’m probably too late for you but, fwiw, I’ve had much better longevity from stemco.
