We have the 3M stuff installed by the previous owner three years ago. Looks like new…so far. I’d never use a nose bra because grit gets behind it. Been there done that. The best way we’ve found to take the worry out of small dents in the stainless is to drive in northern Idaho and get a bigger dent. Now we don’t see the smaller ones. Don’t sweat the small stuff.

The use of a bra requires it to be removed daily and grit, bugs and moisture that might get behind it cleaned from the back of the bra and the front of the coach.

When a bra is left on the coach and the coach has grit between the bra and coach the damage occurs. The good thing about the bra is if it is used just for protection while driving you never have to clean the bugs off, and my bra has an inner and outer vinyl with some foam sandwiched between the two layers so it provides good protection against damage from larger stones. It may be ugly, but it works if you are willing to take the time to use it properly.

I had a bra on my 01 Liberty and never drove without it. I did always remove it if raining and rook it off immediately when getting parked. Do not leave it on in the hot sun while parked.

I took a hit from a dump truck rock the size of a golf ball and the bra saved the day. If that would have been my current H, it would have done damage even with the 3M.
