Well we just took out the 22 year old southwest look and had the sofa’s recovered, the old white travertine tile and wood floor removed and replaced. We took the mirror behind the bathroom sink out and put in tile new wall covering in the water closet, as well as new valances and window styles and led accent lights through out the coach. The video below is about 14 minutes long if you care to watch.

Very nice Mark, beautiful coach and Marathon did a fantastic job. Nothing like a late XL, the best of the best. We looked for you at Canopy Oaks, the tiki hut bartender needed your credit card.
-
Thanks Tom, I can’t understand what happen at Canopy Oaks, I left my card and told them to be on the look for you and just cover everything, sorry maybe next year. When you get a chance get in contact with me, I’m needing batteries.

Reinstalled the house 12v/145amp DelcoRemy alternator after having it overhauled.

Mark,
What is the name of those mats that he mentions when he enters the coach?

Hey Ron, the product is call Chilewich Basketweave. You can go to chilewich.com and take a look. Marathon takes the product and adds a felt like material and some Velcro on the back to hold it in place. We absolutely love it, gives the front a different look and is very easy to clean, since it’s a vinyl product. And another benefit is the granite steps aren’t slippery when the get wet, ask me how I know. Hope this helps.
-
Thanks, Mark, for the replay to my question on the name of the product. i would have never gotten that search right. I will give them a look. I like the idea of having these for the granite entry steps and around the driver area. It looks great.

Recently I removed my tired Lifeline agm house batteries and installed lithiums. So, I removed the battery isolator that connects the house batteries with the lead acid genny battery. Liberty set it up that way to charge the genny battery via the house batteries. The different battery chemistries connected together all the time wouldn’t be good. In place of the isolator I installed a continuous duty normally open solenoid that’s activated via an ignition signal. When the Detroit is running, house and gen batteries are charged via the 12v house alternator. When the Detroit is off and the genny is running the gen battery stays charged via the little genny alternator. When both are off, they aren’t connected.

added a second cooling/exhaust fan w/thermostat to the inverter/converter electrical bay.

Upon postflight inspection, found a small coolant leak at the Webasto. Tightened the clamps and the leak stopped. I will order a new hose. I’m not sure if this is a Prevost or Liberty part?
-
I have a hose with that “L” shape that showed a leak. I tightened the clamp, it stopped weeping, and about 200 miles later it failed catastrophically.
Turns out the leak was not related to clamp tightness, but a split that grew around the hose, in line with the clamp. That hose was at the area near the driver’s side portion of the engine block and was a Prevost hose.
I believe the Webasto hoses and plumbing are done by Liberty.
-
I talked with Brandon & Bill at Liberty. They don’t have a part or part# for hose replacement. They suggest going to an autopart store and hunting thru their hoses and finding one that will work. It won’t be the first time I’ve had to do this.

Slid out the refrigerator again and replaced the condenser filter for the mid CruiseAir.
While back there, added 3 digital voltmeters to the cabin main switch panel for chassis, house, and gen battery banks. -
Hey Don just curious. Why did you remove the pure system enterprises filter? I actually found a company that supplies all new media and i just rebuilt mine. Pretty cool process as the customise the media to your water sample.

Today I made the decision to pull out my 50DN. Too much of a liability for what i use it for (charging house Batteries). I can make a cover plate, and Gasket without trouble and put a belt driven 100 amp alternator out with the other alternator. More details and pictures coming soon to a Forum near you.
