Top left is vanner equalizer, then right is your voltage regulator, bottom is 12 volt disconnect for transmission….

It should be going to the batteries with all three connections, 24V,12V and ground….

Art,
They are as Jeff described and likely have nothing to do with the house. I am guessing you have two alternators, one being 24 volt for the chassis and the second being 12 volt for the house. The chassis is predominently a 24 volt electrical system, but since there are 12 volt requirements the Vanner equaliizer maintains a balance between the 12 volt and 24 volt systems.

Forgot to mention on your vintage coach the DDEC is likely to be 12 volts. That is a primary use of 12 volts and if you get a “balance” light on the dash you have to determine if the Vanner monitor is lying to you or if you do have a balance issue.
Any warning light on the dash for the electrical system is going to be illuminated by the monitor (chassis only) and your first reaction has to be to check the incoming voltages to the monitor to verify the warning light is indicating a real problem or the monitor has failed which has been a common problem.

On each start up batt ballance lights for just a second, Oretty interesting how they use the 4 12v batts in series for 24v and tying into batts before series tye in to get 12v.

Some house systems use the same approach to provide the multiple voltages some conversions require. Later model coaches usually use 24 volt house systems, with 12 volts being available for those devices only available in 12 volts.
