  • Well we did it

Emily and I finally made the big decision. That is, after purchasing our first Prevost. Thanks to Jon, Tom and ETLC(Jeff) we are moving forward with major preventive maintenance and interior upgrades.

Jeff is the Main Man and we have all confidence in him and his crew at ETLC. My attendance at the last seminar gave me much to consider and after all the discussions during the seminar felt now was the time to move.

Just a few of the items that Jeff will be addressing are:CAC replacement (Dura-Lite) along with installation of the CORRECT hoses, inspect radiator and pressure test, install the Ugly Fix, all new air bags, new brake chambers, new norgren valves, new satellite system, new salon floor, new plumbing and shower fixtures, new TV in bedroom, and the list goes on.

We know that after Jeff does this work we should be much safer going down the road and should enjoy the bus much more than we already have. Thanks to all in the Prevost Community and especially Jeff for the new knowledge I now have. Of course we all know that knowledge isn’t cheap but in this case I think definitely worth it.

For those who may ask. 2004 Prevost/2005 Marathon, ~85k miles

I’m right there with you JD! I’m at ETLC also (actually in Nashville right now) getting much of the same work done on my ’01 Marathon that you are, but not really touching the interior since much of it has already been upgraded. Look forward to meeting at some point unless I met you at the Oct. seminar and I simply don’t remember. Jeff & his crew have been terrific!

Congrats on the Marathon purchase, now the fun begins. You didn’t actually believe all the crap we told you, did you?

We made all that stuff up that we were saying at the seminars. One or two of the things we said were true.

Tom and I are going to run for public office and we were just practicing our lying.

My first thought was that you and Tom were two old guys just looking for attention. Than when I saw others kissing the ground each of you walked on, and Jeff being recently “CROWNED”, I figured I better get in on the action.

Seriously, I’m glad I found PC and ETLC.

Tom told me he was like a fine wine…….better with age. I guess it’s always good to dream.

Old wine turns to vinegar sometimes.

As new owners also (coming up on our one year anniversary in February), I can tell you that all the money that we have put into our coach is well worth it. We are planning on this one being our one and only. Jeff is a great guy 😉 Maybe he can dig up another freezer slide for your tool box!

We bought our 02/03 Marathon in May and completed the zeroing our phase consisting of tires, batteries, air bags, and bushings etc on the front end. Later we replaced the Runco drop down TV up front and replaced the Marathon aux air compressor. Having run out of thing to do we are looking at hard wood floors and Ipad upgrades. Driving the Prevost is a dream and we are loving it.
