    Webasto overheating and shutting down

    Hello everyone,

    I am hoping that I will get this information properly put forth as this is a question from my hubby.

    We have a 1987 Prevost XL which we are having some issues with the Webasto DBW 2010.73 Coolant heater.

    Upon start up it puffs smoke, seems to be overheating and then shuts down. It can run for 20 min.

    It seems like there is air getting into the lines from somewhere even though it has been bled. Any thoughts?

    Sorry its so vague…
