Webasto and circulation pump
I seemed to be having an issue with the circulation pump downstream of the webasto in the rear STB compartment remaining on long after the webasto heat cycle is complete, actually doesn’t shut off at all. As I understand the cycle, the circulation pump should cut off approximately 3 mins after the webasto shuts off, unless very cold ambient temperatures exist. I was wondering if the signal to turn on/off the circulation pump is coming from the Webasto or if a separate control exists and if anyone has dealt with a similar issue. Seems to me that the shut down signal is not being processed. If I shut off the webasto on the crestron, he circulation pump shuts off a few minutes later, thanks in advance!!

I believe the cool down timer is a function of the brain box, controller.

As long as the webasto is on the pump will be on all the time but not the burner , just the circ pump on only unless u shut it it off completely

Good reply Peter, I thought he was telling us the pump wouldn’t quit after shutting off the Webasto.

Thank you, I misunderstood that the circulation pump would quit once temperature levels were met by the Wabasto. It’s important to understand how functions are suppose to operate to evaluate if all is correct. Based on this all appears to be working as designed. Thanks again!

According to Jeff Rowe, the circulation pump that is on when the Webasto is on takes quite a bit of power. I found that out the hard way.

The Webasto system, when working draws a lot of energy. The Liberty installed circulation pump does draw a lot of energy, but so do the fan motors at all the Webasto heat exchangers in the coach also.
The bottom line is our environmental systems are not ideal for dry camping and we have learned to just run the generator at every location we stop without shore power. That way we can be comfortable and enjoy all the other devices on the coach without worrying about battery life.
