WAZE app for Navigation
Is anyone one else untilizing “WAZE” free app for navigation and traffic information? I’ve been using it since Oct. and not only is it fun, It’s very useful keeping us from sitting in traffic and from Speed checkpoints ( not so useful in Bus) You guy’s might want to give it a try!

I did use the WAZE app for awhile and I really liked it as the POI information and routing information was very good. It warned when there were red light cameras ahead, police activity or a disabled car along the road side. What did not occur to me was this was all taking place due to a live internet connection during the entire trip and it was eating up my limited cellular data. For someone who has unlimited phone data this would not be a problem.

My wife discovered this iPhone app several months ago and she loves it. She started out, like everyone, as a baby wazer and has since collected enough points to qualify for the road warrior status. This app is owned by Google and you can see this because the same traffic information will come-up on Google maps.
Wazer can be fun for the co-driver and collecting points does easily become a fun challenge.
My wife even got to the rank where she can submit (through the app) map corrections. She did this when the map was still pointing to the BAY WALK exit on I275 when, in fact, the road sign had recently been updated to show the new name for the Bay Walk, now known as the SUNDIAL. Google corrected this within a day and gave credit to her.
Anyway, if you have somebody sitting next to you, it can be a very helpful and fun app.
