water sloshing around in my door.
Can anyone give me some suggestions about getting into the inside of my entry door. I have water condensation that has now accumulated to the point of having a small river of water sloshing around in the window. What I’d like to do is remove the soft trim from the inside of the door and eliminate the water…dry the whole thing out and re-seal preferably from the inside so as not to disturb the appearance.
Can anyone give me some suggestions as to how to get the soft trim off the inside of the door?

I’m not sure you need to disassemble the door and its trim to remove a window.
The windows on an XL and XLII in the front are bonded in place. Cut the seal from the outside around the perimeter of the glass, then holding the knife blade parallel to the glass on the inside, cut the seal between the glass and the frame.
That should be all that is required to remove the glass which might be repaired or replaced.

Mine gets condensation sometimes, it’s the same old problem with the dual pane glass that we have whether it’s a door window or side window. The gas leaks out and allows moisture in. I’m not sure if it’s just a simple matter of cutting the seal on the H, it may need accessed from inside the door panel. Maybe Jeff knows or a call to Prevost.

should be cut out from the outside as inside I believe you will find a fiberglass lip
