  • Water level indicator lights not working

Posted by Jerry on January 4, 2024 at 10:15 am

The 1/2, 3/4 and full indicator lights have stopped working on the panel above the passenger seat on my 97 CC. I checked the bulbs and they are fine. I also found there are three bulbs in each row, one backlighting the number and one each backlighting the arrows on each side of the numbers. None of those work.

Any ideas on how to fix these so they all work? There is a board wire tied to the wire bundle that appears to mainly control the voltage lights for the chassis and house batteries. The turn off for the water fill also appears to no longer work as I tries water fill to see if the level indicator lights would come on (they didn’t) and I found water gushing out of the manual fill port so had to manually stop the water flow.

“Ain’t” it fun chasing 25 year old system failures!
