    water heaters

    Hello all,

    The older, stacked, Atwood 10 gal water heaters have a 12V DC connection – lower left corner – besides, of course, the AC 110V through breakers.

    The newer 11 gal Atwoods and all the other (Kuuma, Seaward etc), do not have a 12v connection from what I gather.

    What is the purpose of the 12V on the older water heaters and what do you do when the new generation water heaters are installed ? Is that 12V circuit used for something ?
