Are the 2 heat buttons on that Buddy told you about?

Jon… we took the solenoid valve apart and cleaned it. When we engage the two thermostat wires, there is a pronounced “click” within the valve. We can only assume it is working. It is magnitized. In addition, when we initially connected the coolant lines, the coolant flowed freely through the valve to the water heater’s heat exchangers and filled them to the point that they flowed back out the top of the second water heater.

I have a call into Goyen valves and am buying a replacement solenoid valve if they ever call me back.

Second, to Truk… the answer is yes we did have the water heater switches on and the central heat switch on while the engine was running.

The reason we have not “hooked up” everything and filled the water heaters with water and then turned everything on is that if there is a problem and we have to go back into the system… we have to disconnect all of the water connections, etc., and remove the framework to get to the valve that is back on the back wall of the bay housing the watrer heaters.

We will figure this out. I was just wondering what this “modulaor valve” or whatever it is called actually isor what it does. It may have nothing to do with it.
