Turbine power, very cool…. You can bet the price of Jon’s Geritol will increase when Walmart puts this high tech fleet to work.

Bernie – A new way to walk the dog….

Interesting. Would have liked to see them link up with Michelin for the advanced tire technology.

Kicking that cat and walking the dog went the way of the mechanical engine.

I don’t see the 2 most expensive company’s in the industry, Peterbilt and Great Dane on board with Walmart.

Carbon Fiber trailer? See what it costs to Carbon Fiber trim a sports car and then figure 948 cubic feet of it on a trailer. It’s bullshit.

That would be like seeing Gucci in Walmart stores.

    I think it’s propaganda crap.

I agree with Bernie, too costly, it will never get past concept stage.

I can’t believe the truck of the future has a driver.

    This is a hoax.

Are we now going to see companies take a page out of Musk’s book and promise the world?

You notice that they do not mention the weight of the tractor, how much fuel capacity it has of whatever it would run on, or if it would even be able to meet federal regulations for a on highway truck. I did not see mirrors big enough to be useful either. I agree it is a gimmick. How do they heat and cool the interior….electric? I see Dometic was one of the vendors. Allison too. Looks like tree hugger PR at this point.

Hell, a deer would demolish that front end plastic, and how about an accident…I bet the driver would be toast if it hits anything bigger than a moped.

Did anyone notice that video is from 2014? Yes, it was a profile puff piece.
