  • Visor Motors ?

Posted by Archived on July 27, 2015 at 1:58 pm

I have a 96 Prevost Liberty, And recently one of the Drivers shade motors quit working. Just before it quit. I was operating it and I would hear a click and the shade would stop. I could reverse the shade in the opposite direction and it would work for a few seconds and then the same Click / Stop. after 2-3x it quit all together. The other three still work , Si I know it is getting power Via the Front Outlet Circuit. My question is : Is there a relay on the motor or will the entire Motor have to be replaced ? And does anyone know where I can get one ? And possibly the Part # ???

    Thanks in Advance

if it has the dc motor ones they are a somfy motor available in 12 or 24 volts depends on what yours are. You will have to replace the motor. If you can verify what voltage I can give you a number

I have read in another post that a Liberty Owner of about the same year coach had the same problem. And it was a 24Volt. So give Me the 24 Volt part # ?

    Thanks Jeff

Mine are 120v. Have to have the #2 inverter on and the “fwd outlet” cb on.

    Don,

Are you sure you don’t have a 120v converter that steps is down to 12 or 24? That’s what my 01 Liberty had.

Probably? I’ve never read the voltage at the motors.

    Rocky,

Are you a Bluegrass Picker by any chance?
