Visitor from the past
Had a nice visit from a 1947 GMC 37PD this afternoon. He has owned this one 20+ years he also has a 1959 that he promised to bring over too. All converted w/ a full size tube &shower that he dropped through the foor into one of the bays. It was the only way to stand because of lack of headroom on the outside of the coach. Power provided bt a 6-71 with an added turbo and a manual (3 or 4 speed- I missed the # of gears) with a column mounted shifter. An old Greyhound with a new life. He says he gets lots of attention whereever he goes. A very cool ride. He does not check fuel mileage. He only figures smiles per mile.
