    VIN Numbers

    I have a 1978 35 foot, LeMirage, the state of NC needs to look at VIN number, because it’s not enough number’s, I guess, would anyone know where it would have been placed ?

    I looked in the bays, wind shield post,

    Hello,

    On the passenger side of the coach right side of windshield there should be a vin plate. If not there, then check in the lower electrical door front drivers side.

    Prior to 1980, VIN numbers were not 17 characters. We run into this all the time with vintage cars. Colorado’s term is “non-conforming VIN number”
