Villa Front Passenger Seat Foot Rest Repair
Footrest failed to raise or lower. Contacted Villa and got replacement transmission with worm gear. Pic shows new one above old one. Removed seat to replace. Not a hard job removing motor assembly. Used hose clamp for rear stop on worm gear.

What a coincidence my motor just locked in the half way position. I just removed the bolt on the end of the threaded rod to get the foot rest down.The threaded rod would only move about an inch then seize. So I know I was getting power to the motor. Your description explains it better.
The new threaded rod look beefier than prior.
Is that really the part number on the sheet??
Is the phone number on the upper left the contact for parts?
