We have some videos complete, and we have a list of others that will be completed by July. We have added this section so a video can add to your knowledge and understanding of the coach. Tom and I will be doing the videos so don’t look for professionalism in the video, but do look for the information the video will provide.
If things do not work, it is because we are stumbling through this. But with our web guru Joe helping us we plan on listing all the videos we are doing that are Prevost conversion specific. But we also will provide links or clickable access to others we know will be helpful.
Tom has been doing the first videos, and in a week or so he and I will be videoing more from my pit. They will need editing so bear with us. We promise to keep them short, but accurate. We will post them as they are finished, and if anyone has topics you would like covered send us an email or post the need. We may not do converter specific videos unless there is something we think is going to help a lot of members, like the Marathon specific video Tom has done regarding the aux air in a Marathon.

We
think this opens up a whole new benefit for members. Everyone on the
forum does their best to explain and help someone that has a problem
or needs to know how something works. It’s a real challenge at times
to convert those instructions to words and to explain the function.
If you were sitting under the awning, it would be a piece of cake,
but doing it on the forum can get the solution lost in translation.Like
Jon said, we’re not video professionals, so if you hear something on
the video’s that sounds like Jon breaking wind, just grin and feel
sorry for me holding the camera. -
This is an outstanding idea Jon & Tom!
Would love to see some videos coming out from the July workshop. These really will be invaluable to anyone, but especially to rookies like myself. It became evident when I looked at Tom’s video and the all gauges/lines and said, “Holy Crap”! But I could follow Tom in the video, which I’m sure I would have never been able to follow him if he typed out the instructions.

That is a great way to explain the workings of things, that at some time seem overwhelming but are really pretty simple, I can’t believe I said that! I tend to make things a lot more complicated than they really are. I know some of you are like me, When you get a shut down or check engine light, the first thing that comes into your mind is “O sh##” Getting to know your bus is with me an ongoing thing. Thanks Tom and Jon for your work in trying to make things related to these complicated machines a little easier to understand, Gary

I watched the video. It was extremely helpful, particularly because Tom’s coach is similar to mine. Excellent idea, and very, very much appreciated. The video was about 5 minutes long, but I know from my experience in the porn industry it requires much more than 5 minutes to get 5 minutes of good video.l

Our list of videos came about because of the seminar. The seminar came about as a result of people saying they would like to know more about their coach. We were unsuccessful in getting Prevost to do seminars or training sessions as they do for commercial operators so Tom, Jeff and I are in this all the way. We may not have the best lighting, we may stumble over our words, but we hope the content is easily understood and of value.
We obviously want to develop an entire list of videos specific to Prevost conversions, but there are going to be generic videos, such as the one Al is kind enough to bring up every month on handling a blowout. We will not do videos that are as comprehensive as the Webinars Prevost provides. We intend to keep them short and very focussed. Give us time and we will have a long list of videos.
Your dues at work.

Just about the time you really need a laugh, Colt comes through.:)

Jon and Tom, great idea with the video . Hope to see more. Thanks for the great site.
-
I guess I want to know how Colt has an understanding of how much video has to be shot to get 5 minutes of porn.
-
Colt, just curious as to which side of the camera was your experience?
-
You guys crack me up!
Tommy, I was a lighting technician. If I had been on the other side of the camera, the video would have only been about 30 seconds long.
-
I have to admit Jon, I am so proud of you.
The progressive thinkers at PC (the guys who did their science projects and had their homework turned in on time) are slowly dragging you into the Twenty-First Century. And you are not kicking and screaming all that much, I am like I said, “impressed.”
Flip phones, cellphones, email, video’s … Man-man, what is next?
By the way, almost forgot. I saw a video the other day surfing the net, porn, disgusting, didn’t know people knew how do those things to each other. I am never visiting my parents website again!
Here is one for you warning some of the language is off color.
Watch them Right-Handers,
BCO

I never heard the trucker blow the air horn. Anyone else hear it? Why didn’t he use the air horn? I suspect the truck might need a new bumper.

What did I miss? She was ahead of him and pulling over. Yes he either accelerated or she slowed, but I did not get a sense he was even aware she was there.
In thoise cases when that has happened to me I have been all over my brakes. Maybe I didn’t see it as others did.
