Andy and Siren,
Great video! You made all the driving look so smooth (and it is!).
I have to touch on something that you mentioned, we just finished service at Prevost in Mira Loma, CA, which included the fuel tank recall, a level 3 service and chassis lube. Prevost is very organized and they have most, if not all, parts in stock. I’ve also heard horror stories about regular RV service centers having dreadful waiting times.
I made my appt. with Prevost a few weeks ago. When I called for the fuel-tank recall repair, they were giving me a few days ahead for an appt. I said that nice but I was looking for an appt. in about three weeks which was not a problem. There are 3,100 coaches in the recall and surprisingly, appts. were easy to get.
I noticed that I had a little oil spot in my storage garage. During my service, they noticed that I had a leak at the transmission. Since I’m in the ‘5 year’ warranty window, they wanted me to go to an Allison shop which is right down the street (Valley Power Systems).
I drove my toad over while Prevost was servicing the Liberty and Valley Power Systems gave me an appt. for the next morning (wow). I was shocked because the place is also a Detroit Diesel shop and there were a lot of big semi trucks, Fire trucks, RV’s and Prevosts waiting for service (anything with an Allison or DD).
The Allison needed a new filler tube seal. It took about 4 hours that included steaming the trans, diagnose and repair. I’m impressed.
Safe travels,
Mark
