My understanding was that all the recent Marathon bunk coaches were coming standard with this or a similar feature…. Not sure about the add on drapes… When I was in Colberg in 2014 I walked thru a coach was nearly built that had it. I think Marathon was selling it more a convertible closet it appears that you have a clothes bar accross the top that comes down as well.
I like all the disable features… I don’t recall seeing that on the model I saw…
We love our Bunk coach… but we always have the three kids so both bunks are full… but when they get older and we travel just the two of use… might be a nice mod for us. What I really want is a nice office setup… still thinking thru it…

I’m the second owner of this coach and it’s my understanding the original owner was one of the few who ordered the drapes vs. the folding doors. As you can see in video, I’m one who prefers the drapes vs the doors as it opens up the bunks.
I like all the disable features… I don’t recall seeing that on the model I saw…
This was a requirement I made when ordering this mod. Marathon did a commendable job figuring out how to implement it into the bunk and control panel. I don’t believe they had done this before in this manner.

Florida Coach has my favorite office mod. They typically place two sets of three bunks across the aisle from each other and one that I saw had one of the bunk banks removed and used the space for a three foot long desk. They placed a washer/dryer stack in the adjacent space. It works for their coaches as they have the vertical window in that space and it goes very well with the desk.

Thanks Per! Having Lucy on board along with kids upon occasion, was a motivating factor to have the fail safe overrides incorporated into the bunk controls.

Great looking mod – and great video as always.
I wanted a coach that had a floor plan that could handle a bunk retrofit – And I got one. Thing is I don’t want to give up the extra closet space.
Looks like a office mod could be done if you do the reverse (raise the top bunk) -where possibly the lower bunk converts to a desk top – of course you would have to sacrifice the drawers below for at least foot space.

I think you may have a brilliant idea! If you remove the center drawer, you’ll create knee space. However, since the bunk is opposite the head/shower, when you’re seated at the desk, you’ll be blocking hallway.
I use the dinette for my work space.
