I’ve very recently begun looking at a Vantare H3-45 that has basement air. Has there been any updates on the serviceability of the basement air? Are parts available or do most people retrofit cruise-airs?

Featherlite in Sanford, Fl rebuilt mine a few years ago. Two new compressors, two new fans, and a new PC board. Featherlite had a company reverse engineer the PC board and now has the new PC boards available (last time I checked $1,400). Problem is as with all newer electronics, they are not as robust as the old ones.

Took a couple of weeks to do (of course my coach wasn’t the only one they were working on) and cost a little over 6 G. Works well except in 98 deg days in direct sunlight. Have to fire up the Cruisair units to assist at that point.
